The Auto has the gear indicator - what is displayed on manual equipped cars?

Nothing. In reverse, a small R lights up.

Yeah - we don't get the numbers 1 thru 6! (said with tongue firmly implanted in cheek).
Manual drivers are supposed to know which forward gear we're in at all times! LOL!

The Legacy has a gear indicator in its manual transmission gauge cluster :hide:

that would be kind of cool for it to have the gear #, and a shift light or something :D

I was just thinking, "why didn't they put the G-meter there like the V1's?" And for that matter, why no cool V badge in the cluster...

V2 has no g meter? I thought it did.

Oh it does, I just don't like having to press the buttons on the dash and having to give up the speedometer. My point is they could have used that space like they did worth the v1.

I really liked the way the V badge was placed in the speedometer of the V1, too bad they could not find a place for it in the spedo or tach. Also when you start the car, the LCD display should show a V based animation, unique to the V series.
