Ed,

Currently have aftermarket (CCW) wheels with my factory rotors. Unfortunately the factory rotor hats and fins are rusting. I would like to replace with aftermarket cross drilled rotors and was wondering if you offer a set that will not rust at the fins and hats. You can PM me a price if you would not like to post.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane -
There is a replacement rotor available, but they aren't easy to come by. I am currenty trying to find out what it takes to get some, and will post an answer for you on Monday.

Thanks Ed.

Washed the car today and had to look at those rusty ass rotors :banghead: . You can imagine how they look with the wheel as open as these.

Hey Shane,

I didn't forget about you, I'm waiting to see what kind of minimum order we have to place to get them. As soon as I get that info, I will post price & availability.

Thanks,

Hi Shane

Sorry to keep you waiting, but here's the info on the rotors:

We have to place a minimum order for at least 10 sets of rotors, and they aren't exactly cheap.

They are a 2 piece 13" rotor, with what looks like cross drilling, but they are actually round divots in that same pattern. We've been happy with the performance on the set we used, and the local customer that purchased our R&D car seems to like them as well.

Now for the bad news, when we buy them 10 sets at a time, retail price is $414.36(ea) for the rears, and 370.94(ea) for the fronts. That makes a full set $1570.60 which is pretty steep for a set of rotors.

We can get a lower price if we buy them in sets of 20 or 50 so maybe if there's enough interest we could look into that.

These are a substantial investment for us to order 10 sets, so we're going to want to see some interest, or possibly even take a few orders before we buy them, so feel free to post up if anyone is interested in these rotors.

Thanks,
Ed

Ed,

OUCH!!!!!! Wow, that is an expensive set of rotors. My dealership has already said they will replace mine under warranty since they are rusting so bad. I'm either going to wait for the factory Brembo cross drilled that will be offered or just get the factory Brembo's replaced. There are a couple of companies out there that will powder coat the hats and fins for $100.00 for all four. I think I'll just have this done. I appreciate all the info though.

The GP for the V Magnacharger is what we're going to need.

Ed, the factory rotors are 14" and 14.4"... how will a 13" rotor work?
