I just got Bridgestone 305's for my stock OEM rear wheels from D3 and holy cow what a huge difference in feel for the road, and acceleration! And speaking of huge, they look insane from the rear, big ass wide tires! Man I love 'em!

Acceleration due to less spin then or the shorter diameter?

I noticed less spin and also you really feel that meaty wide tire on the road, the second I got in I noticed the difference!
Feels way better!!!

Can you post some pics? I'd really like to see how far they stick out past the rim.

What did you put on the front wheels? Can you post the full tire dimension numbers? Been thinking of this too. Are they 305/30?

Do you have a sedan or coupe? Also, was there any modding needed, ie spacers, cutting, rolling...etc

Thanks

...305's in the rear 265's in the front. I originally threw them on and they fit just fine. I even have the original d3 lowering springs and have had 0 issues with rubbing. The re-11's are great tires and much much better than the nitto invo's i was previously running

Info on the questions above please. Looking at possibly going same route, if you have the coupe and no cutting/rolling was done.

Thanks

I was going to do this but am waiting for my next round of rears. My fronts were still good and I don't think you can run the 305's with stock sizes up front.

Yeah they are Bridgestone RE 11 and they are 305/30/19. I still have the michelins in the front but they are next. Fronts will be 265/35/19.
And I have the D3 Lowering Springs.
I have the sedan, I ain't driving the "BOX" , LOL
