I'm about a third of the way through Bob Lutz's new book "Car Guys vs. The Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of America" released last Thursday. Keeping in mind it is one man's viewpoint of the events leading to GM's near demise in 2008, it is still an interesting analysis of the automobile industry in the U.S. In his career Bob has worked for Ford, Chrysler, BMW, and for GM twice. I think Mr. Lutz was a major influence in the introduction of the CTS and CTS-V. Recommended reading for those interested in the automobile industry.

If so, he sucks... there is very little true American muscle left. Kudos to Chevy for getting the Camaro back but I hope GM can fig out a way to resurrect the GTO and the Firebird too.
