I'd hate for the gas pedal to stick on that one. You know for sure you're gonna die!

This is not a "Toyota" thing, it's a badass car no matter who built it. I'm not liking the red/white paint scheme but otherwise it's sweet!!!

I am confused too... Based on the pictures they started from Solara and then ended up in Camry?!
I am not that much patient to read the long description about a Toyota.... Does anyone here have read the full description? If yes would please clarify this?

they say it started life as a camry and the body was reworked.

Here's another twist............My first daughter is down from CT for a few days. She works as a field auditor for a large New England jewelery chain, so she drives a LOT - 35,000+ a year. She bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata last fall. 6-speed, some toys, XM, Bluetooth, but the base model. I drove it 100 miles yesterday to DC and back. Nice car. Peppy, comfortable, no rattles, nice interior (black & coffee color pattern). Seems like a lot of bang for the buck. 10 year/100,000 full warranty. (It already has 22,000 on it !)

wife has 2010 camry. yawn. i have even driven it a few times. this car is nothing more than a 2005 gto when its all done. any nascar shop could build one. yes it takes a lot of effort. and it has the bastard toyota V8 that is almost impossible to buy since toyota wants to limit its availability in the marketplace.

I've never liked Toyotas, even when I lived in Japan over 45 years ago. The one exception being the Toyota 2000 GT from the sixities. For that reason a custom built, hyper Carolla doesn't excite me, especially with an insane price tag of $400,000. I can't say that there will never be built a Toyota that will make me change mind mind, but so far it's been over 40 years since I've even been tempted to give a Toyota a second look!

Sorry, Sting. Though I suspect you'd really rather save the dough for this:

This Cadillac wagon has to be the ultimate "Roomobile." A few cans of "Phoenix Atomic Sunset Orange Metallic" should fix any small imperfections in this car!

You need to properly fit them over your head for survival. Of course they float !!!

True, but for $400k, I would much rather start with something better than a Camry. Imagine what a CTS-V+$330k would equal. Well, no, actually, it's better if I don't.

The Camry SE with a manual can be a fun car if you dont mind the body, interior, suspension, and badge. 0-60 in 5.9s

I think I just described Fergie
