I drove this awesome car today and all i can say is that it makes the Ferrari california and my prior sl65 and 911TT look like a big wheel...probably the most enjoyable ride i've had in my life (in a car ;))
WOW...
now to do some homework

I hope to have an LP car in the next 7 years... Personal goal before I turn 40. It's still in reach.

I can be impartial. But I'd have to ratchet back the snark.

One of my good friends has the same car and it's awesome... My v-coupe should beat him from 60-130, but the 560 will destroy me in every other category lol...

where can you drive it without getting busted? don't want to do a ricky-bobby stunt and loose my license.

where can you drive it without getting busted? don't want to do a ricky-bobby stunt and loose my license.Same goes for all Corvettes, Vipers, AMG's, V's, M's, and even the lowly STi's and Evo's... Hell, my own generic CTS loves cruising at 90-100, and that'll have me pulled off the road for a day if Im caught doing those speeds...
Tracks and traffic-less roads are the answer most of the time...

Autox/track days, on/off ramps, occasional quiet open stretch of road.

My close friend has had 2 Gallardo's ('04/'10) and Ive had quite a few miles in the first. House-sat 1 summer for him and he let me drive it when I wanted, tho I didnt put alot of miles on it then... That car changed my opinion about awd's. I havent driven a 2wd, but I was very surprised how light and nimble the 4wd felt. The front end loves to change directions, very confidence inspiring. :) He's been talking about a Superleggera lately, so hopefully Ill get a shot to drive that one too. :) Cadillacandalambo, what color combination is yours?

+1 on the autocross. It's amazing how fast 60 mph is when you are almost constantly at the limit.

Whether I am heading north or south to get home on I-190, I have a long offramp. It's usually slow. But if I'm heading north, I take a left onto the main street and then, as soon as I cross the highway, I take another left onto the ramp system. Everyone else goes straight. So I have 1/2 mile of 2 lane emptiness. If I'm heading south, I cross over the main street. Some will take a left, some a right. Almost everyone else who is going straight will then bear left to enter I-190 S. Again, 1/2 mile of 2 lane emptiness.

When leaving my neighborhood toward the ramp system, I get 3/4 of a mile before hitting a street at the end of that ramp. Plenty of space to open it up.

No matter what, I can see everywhere around me. I can see if there is an officer and none can sneak up on me. So everytime I leave or arrive at my house, I can get the aggression out, really without danger or fear...
