I just returned last night from the Texas Mile. There were 4 V's there, all black, 2 sedans and 2 coupes, at least at noon Saturday. I believe all of them were manual except mine. The new mile event ran north to south, and right into a 30 to 45 MPH Gulf wind. Friday runs were difficult to say the least. Saturday the wind was only blowing around 20 MPH. Got my V lined up early and just nailed it. My beat attempt was in October when my rev liminiter shut be down at 176.9MPH. Went back to the drawing board re-tuned it and Sataurday nailed a 180 MPH. What a thrill. Felt that it would do more but the winds were no match. I do not know how the other V's did; hopefully they will let us all know. Transam79 (Mike) had a beautiful 2011 sedan manual shift. Hope he did well. DonS

Dons how much RWHP?

Our 2009 ZR1 ran 181-182mph with only a upper pulley! It ran 189mph at the march mile.

Had it tuned just before the mile and it pulled 630 RWHP. The wieght of the V is around 4,240 pounds and is more or less shaped like an altered box, but she does move pretty good. The ZR!'s are very fast. Have a good day. Don
