Noticed that since the temperature has gotten warmer, my pop up display squeaks when going up.
Kind of embarassing, especially if there is a guest in the car.
Anybody have a good solution?

I'm not in front of mine, but I assume we can't get to the inner workings, correct? Is the squeak mechanical, or a plastic creak? If the latter, maybe some protectant around the dash are where it rises from. Should help lube that area(if that's what it is)

I'd be headed to the dealer for a warranty repair.

My CTS-V is a 2009 and I have never had the problem you describe at any temperature.

mine did this last summer, I am waiting for the weather to get warmer to check it this year. If it does I will be fixing it myself, I can do without all the additional scratches someone else would cause.

Mine just started this also. No dealer for me until it fails. They will jack it up worse!

Mine does it too, when it's hot (direct sunlight on dash)

Ditto - just for the record.

So I guess I'm not the only one.
I figure it's the housing that's rubbing and not any internal gearing component.
I agree with what others have said about the dealer, don't want them scratching things up.
Will try topical silicone/lubricant and see if that takes care of it...

Dealer fixed mine with some lubricant. Only happened when it was warm out.

Mine does it also. I solved it by turning the stereo up. That solved the wheel clicking too.
