Was reading up on these on the weekend. Both claim to be "permanent" finishes that basically bolster the protection of the clear coat.

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with these? They seem to be getting good reviews from the detailing community.

I read up on this and there were a lot of people that also said they still got chips like crazy with the coating

I have wanted to try ome of them, I just don't have the time to get the finish perfect to start with.

This would be perfect for the wife's escalade....

Yeah, don't expect it to too much for rock chips, but it does appear that it would be effective against scuffs and light scratches.

Apparently the water beads like crazy even after a couple years, would probably be great on the wheels to help with the brake dusting.

Think I'm gonna try one of them...just not sure which one.

the reviews on autopia seem to have the c-quartz as a better product.....but thats just my reading of the topic.
