3 pulls on a Dynojet dyno I always go to when I want to dyno my vehicles. I drove there, and pulled straight onto the dyno. The first 2 pulls were hot in off the street with the blower hat so hot you couldn't keep your hand on it very long. I know dyno numbers don't always mean anything, you can take them for what they are. There are zero mods to the car, it's bone stock, and had stock air pressure (35psi) in the rear tires.

First pull
STD - 498.04 HP / 459.94 tq
SAE - 487.76 HP / 450.45 tq
The torque curve looked like it was a little lean on the first pull.

Second pull 1 minute later
STD - 492.98 HP / 470.97 tq
SAE - 482.75 HP / 461.20 tq

Third pull - We let it cool down about 30 minutes. The blower hat was still fairly warm but at least it was cool enough to keep your hand on.
STD - 505.21 HP / 496.19 tq
SAE - 494.55 HP / 485.72 tq

Needless to say I still have a stupid grin on my face. I have some videos of the dyno runs I'll upload to youtube later this evening, and I'll take a picture of the dyno graphs and upload that as well.

Wow, those are some great #'s. I would be very happy.

Since the STD is higher than the SAE, I imagine the DA was good.

Congrats, and take it to the track. I would love to see what it traps!

I can't wait to get it to the track and see what it will trap in the 1/4!

The DA was slightly better than corrected, but not by much. The correction factors were 1.02, 1.01, and 1.01

Run 1
80.28deg F, 29.34 in-Hg, Humidity 37%
Correction Factor 1.02

Run 2
79.78deg F, 29.34 in-Hg, Humidity 38%
Correction Factor 1.01

Run 3
77.71deg F, 29.35 in-Hg, Humidity 41%
Correction Factor 1.01

Factory FREAK! Awesome!

Very impressive #'s for sure.

Should be interesting to see how the #'s correlate to trap speed at the track.

Any plans as to when to hit the track?

Thats not oddly high for a manual car, you are right where you should be. Now you see why 550 whp is not problem.

bad ass for sure!!

Why do manual cars put so much more power down? I assume it's becuase not as much is lost thru the trans, but 60-70 HP difference is kinda crazy!!?

I see why you said that now. I was guessing about 470 to the wheels before we put it on the rollers.

SAE 495RWHP / 556 factory rated engine HP = 11% power loss in the driveline. That seems pretty low to me, I was figuring more like 15% which would have made it closer to the 470 number.

Yea I've always seen @ 15%-18% loss on my manual cars and 20% plus on automatics. That Wagon is making abnormal power in my opinion. That's why I sais it's a factory FREAK! LOL! Not often you get more than what you pay for these days!

WOW! Nice!

My auto with less than 400 miles on the clock did 460 RWHP/462RWTQ. If I would have left it bone stock and put more miles on it, I am sure it would have been higher as the car feels much quicker now. With the Borla cat back, the car put down 473RWHP/471RWTQ at less than 400 miles. I am curious to see how much more power I have picked up since. I have a bit over 2,000 miles on the car now. I recently did the W4M partial CAI kit with K&N panel filter and am waiting for the W4M tunes. I am sure the car will be putting down a good amount more once I load the new tunes in.

You have a strong starting point! Let the mods begin!

#'s line up just right. Your 495 vs my 473 ... MT vs AT.

Drivetrain losses 11% for manual, 15% for Auto. Exactly what I expect.

Nice numbers...now get that pulley on and see what she puts down. Z06 killer!!!!!!!

Where did you have it dynoed? There's not any close to me that I know of. Shoot me a PM maybe we could meet up one weekend.

POLK Performance in Alexander. They are only about 10-15 minutes from my house. They built the twin turbo setup on my old 2001 Lightning. I did the engine build/swap and all the appearance mods on the truck before they put the turbos on it.
