I had a crack in the radiator on my 73 deville and to my suprise a warning light lit up on the dashboard that says "water". It was helpful, but now that I've fixed the radiator I don't know how to turn off the light.
Anyone know how to turn it off? A reset button? A fuse?

you can try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. that might reset it.
Usually mine go away after the problem is solved.

The WATER light is not connected to any resettable control device; the circuit has a switch and a bulb. The switch is designed to close when a certain temperature is exceeded, and once the temperature drops, the switch opens and the bulb turns off. Sometimes, an old switch can get stuck in the closed position and and keep the bulb lit. The solution is to replace the switch.
Thanks guys. I'll give those ideas a try!

common problem some cars. Find the senor and tap on it. An air bubble might be stuck on top of it.
