I have a very early 09 V (bought in 08) with over 30,000 miles. It is rare I keep a daily driver this long but I like it and have already done the M5 thing--no thanks.
Sorry if this has been answered but any idea when we can expect a new V? Thanks

im assuming you mean V3? well 2012s are coming out so wouldnt be til 2013 at the earliest. Since they just released the wagon/coupe in 11...i would think a few more years.

One "rumor" is, the CTS gets a new platform in 2014, and will only be offered in sedan. A V version is not known. The new ATS will be offered in sedan, coupe, possibly wagon(based on CTS Wagon sales) The ATS will have a V version.

In the past GM kept a model for 7-9 years, in fact most auto makers do. I wouldn't expect GM to be different. 08 is technically the first year of the CTS model so 2014-2015 i would guess is earliest, but i hope not until 2016-2017 since i am buying a 09 next week.

From what I have heard from a GM insider, look for the new CTS to be released in the summer of 2013 as a 2014 model year vehicle and the V would be released a year later in the summer of 2014 as a 2015 model year.

Nice. I love being the center of attention.
