So far mods are 10" lower, intake, tune, ID850's and its doing 570/590 at the wheels. Thinking upper pulley might be my next step, I see a lot of people also go with a ported snout. Is that needed for this mod or does it just optimize it? What size are you guys running and where are ya buying? Id like to make 600+ through stock manifolds and exhaust.

Most are running a 2.55 upper but with a 10" lower that might be a bit extreme, the blower will be spinning crazy RPM. Wait4me has a good buy on them, I think 100 bucks or so. Maybe try thinking of another way to hit 600.....maybe a cam? Someone else with more knowledge will chime in im sure. If you do the upper pulley you do not have to port the snout but it helps a little. Hope that helps, best of luck in your 600HP quest.

x2. It's about $200 by the time you get the belt and shipping, but I believe he has about the best price.

Thats cheap! But I didn't think about over spinning the blower. Whats the max boost you guys are seeing out of these things before they get way out of the efficiency range? I'm at 13.5-14ish right now

Thats a pretty good boost range now IMO. Stock rpm range is 16,900 and with just the 2.55 upper its up to 19,900 so just imagine with the 10" lower.....might be 23-24,000, too much if you ask me. I beleive some members reported a reduction in boost with a 9.5 lower and 2.55 upper cause the combo just didnt work well. I think the 9" lower with the upper works well but you might as well just leave the 10 on. I would call Jesse or one of the other vendors and get their opinion and they will get you to 600 as safely as possible.

Anything past 22,000rpm your treading in frag territory.

With a 10" ring your about there, I have heard of someone running 2.55/9.55 combo but with only 3/8" between the intercooler brick and the lid it is likely to deadhead (lose boost and gain heat).

Go with a cam. ZR1 cams are cheap. Drumstix is using about the same blower speed with that cam and a custom ported blower/lid building awesome power (granted his tune).

I only have a 8.6 lower and blower speed is about 22,000. I also thinking slapping in a small cam and some springs is a good idea. You'll also need the three bolt upper sprocket if you go with the LS9 cam. It's a couple bux.
