just post your offers and on Monday i'll sell to highest offer minimum i'm willing to sell this for is $50

The tire is my original full size spare that came from dealership with original tire too when i bought my car from a relative 3 years ago theyt old me they never needed to use the tire and it had been in the trunk for 8 years since the car only had 28,000 miles. The tires tread is new no use whatsoever its a michelin XW4 235/70/r15 the rim looks new too no scratches that i could see under close inspection but for some odd reason the whitewall has a slight pink to it in some areas but i don't know if this is from the dealer because when i bought the car noticed this too it does not look like its paint or something just has some pink in certain parts someone let me know if this is normal.

I will clean it before selling and see if it comes off.

I am also selling my rear drum setup complete with backing plates and cylinder etc. the only thing that may not be complete are the springs for it i lost some when taking the drum backing plates off as some seemed to fly off lol. I will include the drums themselves but they are the heavy and shipping may be too much but if you want them let me know. starting price is $1 lol

i am selling because i just converted my setup to rear discs and dont need these my car has 50,500 miles and rarely driven in winter i had no problem taking these parts off very minimal rust i was surprised i didnt use oil or heat and these parts came off easily. oh my car is a 1994 fleetwood brougham non-heavy duty i believe the drums are 11X2 if you need pics of the drum setup ill post them. I dont want to auction this on ebay cause no one searches for this car often enough and thus it wont get bids or enough anyway i'm not sure where im supposed to post this so if any mod wants to move this its ok.

btw i am selling this separately as for the spare tire(1 ) and drum setup(1).

Who's rear disc setup did you get?

i got a rear disc setup off of a 96 chevy impala from a junkyard im going to have to do without abs which is not a major concern for me

my total cost was $280 including longer wheel studs and new brake lines from napa with new brake discs and new pads from autozone. This price also includes gas money spent so this could be a more realistic total price of parts, actual price is $240.

i got the parts from a local pick-n-pull

btw it looks like i can use the existing brake line from my caddy it's still in very good condition no rust i had to slightly bend it but nothing major. I might get the brake lines from classic tube i'll see what happens first i'm in the process of installing my rear discs now.

I decided to do 2 things at once and decided to install my 3.23 gears myself.

Won't your abs light stay on in the dash?

10-10-04, 04:18 AM
LOL yep but guess what i found a lil trick i didnt want to take apart my dash and take the light off etc. so i got some 3m electrical tape and cut it exactly the shape of the abs part which is about 1" by 1/2" about and put it over and i swear u can't tell if u don't know about it lol. Especially because that area is always dark because of the deck the fleetwood has to be keep the sun out in order to see the lcd display correctly. trust me just try it and you can't see it.

Also on my car i disabled the traction control by pulling a fuse underthehood i got tired and annoyed and always having to push that button sucks. It never had a good use anyway i didn't like the knocking the car made when the TC kicked in just annoying i prefer old fashioned way lol with wheel spinning.

overall i just prefer it this way like i'm used to driving

Worst case scenario for some ODD REASON if I needed to obtain abs function again i'd just have to buy the abs backing plates for about 150 the set i think or i'll make one anyways probably easier.

this is my cheaper and effective way

now, before i forget i need to buy that stealth bolt lol later ppl see my parts number pages
