Everyone says that aftermarket radios won't fit the Brougham for these years. Has anyone been able to install one or know of a kit that will work with these years?

I've put single dins in three 90s. You'll have to do some research for the kit, I had to get mine from Best Buy. It was listed for a mid 90s truck or something but it had brougham listed on the back. Otherwise ebay, just ordered two off there and they are great quality and decent instructions.

I have a Pioneer DIN installed in my 90 Brougham, I had a local stereo shop do it for me as the wiring had to be modified.

I just install an aftermarket radio in my 95 Fleet, I used the kit on the left in the picture. I had to trim the bottom of the kit to assure proper dash fitment.

Thanks for your help.

Best Buy & Crutchfield both say that the depth is too shallow for an aftermarket radio by an 1". Have you found that to be true?

I forgot, it is short. The piece that's in the way is just a bracket. You can modify it or take it out, it holds something it place that you can just let sit. Also, the wiring harness plugs into the wires coming from the external amp, not the wires coming from the head unit. The external amp is behind the climate control and to the left(sort of).

If you're running rca's for amps you will have to use a heat gun to press in the heat duck for radio clearance .
