my valve cover gaskets are leaking - not badly - but leaking none the less. has anyone changed these out? how tough is it - i am thinking the back one has to be a real pain.

just remove the coil assy.and lower the front cradle to gain space in the rear careful. you will need a puller ,installer for the coolant pully don't even try with out one on the front cover and lots of hand cleaner. lol sts96

Rent a powersteering pulley puller for the cam pulley. IIRC, I had to remove the seal to slide the valve cover off the camshaft extension... I don't think they're reuseable either - but it was like $10. Be sure to put some RTV anaerobic sealer on the backside before reassembly! (The camshaft seal, not the valve cover seal.)
