Thinking about spraying some dry nitrous through the blower setup. Has anybody here done it?

Several have. I will let them chime in.

I ran a single nozzle EFI wet kit from nitrous outlet through the CAI tube last year. It worked well. Got me a 10.38 last year with 35/18 jets

This year I have a throttle body plate. I am still in the process of tuning and learning the new motor. Looking to break 10s or at least be deep in the 10s

I also use a progressive programmer with a safety cutout for A/F and nitrous pressure. Wouldn't run nitrous without it.

If you do a search there are pics in a thread of my setup last year.

Spraying wet through the blower is safe? For some reason I was under the impression that it was bad for the blower to do that.

This guy runs a progressive 200 shot (if memory serves me correctly).

Yep. Thats correct. Fastest CTS-V to date. I believe he will go quicker this year.

Looks like I'll be running a 90mm wet plate then.

I run a dry shot. Did you have specific question?

Would a dry shot not be safer? It seems like spraying fuel through the blower and inter cooler that it wont be distributing into each cylinder properly. I was thinking big injectors + a dry system would be the safest route?

How big is your shot? what fuel mods? and how much power are you making?

Personally, I feel wet is safer.
Look at the fastest nitrous guys and they are wet.
Regardless, get yourself a programmer that with safety cutoffs if the bottle pressure and or Air/Fuel get outside your set parameters.

Here is some good stuff

I'm familiar with all the safety stuff. I'll have a WOT switch and a nice digital 2 stage window switch. Just wondering if its safer to run wet through the blower/IC.
