Free. Brother has a spring compressor so I used it, otherwise they are 45 to rent from autozone (Free if you return it for your deposit back)

I'd never pay anyone to put springs on, but that's just me. Good shop shouldn't take much more then an hr with a lift, impact wrench and what not.

Or you can rent a spring compressor from Advance auto for free.
It's a straight forward job for the DIYer. But you should not pay more than $200 - $250.

all the stores rent them for free as long as you return them. otherwise it's like 45 bucks. guess i forgot to put that in.

I also checked at my tire place today, and they said $100 also. I did the rears in about 30 minutes in my driveway, and you don't even need a spring compressor.

I think I paid around $250 including an alignment.

I just moved to the Chicago area. Do anyone know where I can get my lowering springs installed?

Might have missed it, but has there been any discussion about a change of springs adversely effecting the Magnetic Ride Control System?

D3 gives you new rods that take care of that issue.
