I Want to slap these: http://www.jegs.com/photos/214stockcar.jpg on my '79 coupe deville. I dont know what size to get them in. I know I have
215-75-R15 size tires, thusly 15" rims, but I have no idea about the width. Does anyone know of a good place to find out the specs on rim size?

I'd go with a 7'' wide rim, 8'' at the most. I've got 245/60R 15s on both my Fleetwoods and they just touch the frame with the wheel turned all the way. They are on the stock 7'' rims. I suspect that one size bigger would fit in the back, which would probably work best with an 8'' wheel. That is a unique wheel choice you picked, it should look cool. I like the look of the white letters I put on mine, it gives it a touch of attitude. I've been looking for a set of 15x7 aluminum slotted mags for the longest time, but nobody makes them anymore and good ones are looked at as retro collectors items by a lot of people.
