If you want red, you can call a mobile wheel repair shop. They usually paint them on your car.

That is what I was thinking! G2 yellow caliper paint, 4 hours, and a few beers and save $1150 bucks. U can buy brembo brake stickers on ebay...used them on my Jeep SRT8 worked perfectly. Or have some CTS-V brake emblems cut. I could think of many other ways to spend $1200 for this car :).

I bought an extra set so that I can have them custom finished. The stock black wheels and yellow calipers will go in storage along with other stock parts I've removed. $1200 is a very good price for Brembo GT calipers.

And the stock silver calipers can always be sold... making up for a large portion of the $1,200.00.

1200 bucks for brembo calipers is a great deal. Normal set of full brembo brakes is like 4K

Thanks. I think it's a great look. The car has ebony/saffron interior, so the yellow accent thing works IMO.

On an $800 option lol. Caliper paint is a lot cheaper (so is powdercoating)

Thanks man. It looks real nice with the yellow. Worth the $1200 in my opinion, especially since you have the saffron.

That looks great with the black and polished. Not sure why everyone is questioning the money spent by people here, it's not coming out of your account. Relax and enjoy people....be glad that we can actually get the calipers for such a fair price.

BTW- after much research, there isn't a whole lot of "store-bought" caliper paint solutions I deem durable enough. The only solution I've found that I think will work for me is the two-part epoxy based G2 caliper paint. I ordered a custom mixed Carbon Black Metallic paint for the calipers and will have race gold Brembo lettering applied. I've ordered a centerlock version of the Forgeline GA3R wheel that should match up very nice with the new caliper color.

Those definitely aren't the same calipers as the Brembo GT 6-pots. The removable screw instead of a solid bridge was the tip off for me.

Do they sell touch up paint for them? I have yellow Brembo GTs on my vette and have yet to find a good touch-up paint.

I read GM yellow calipers.

1. Are these OEM Brembo 6 and 4 puck calipers?

2. Is there a core charge for our units in exchange for your's?

I would like to get a set of Yellow CTS v fronts for now, any additional pins, brackets, or bolts I might need to put these on a (3.6 coupe 2011), That you know of anyway..

And these are the same as the silver two front calipers (PN 25912477, 2591296), in yellow?

Looks like a fun Saturday project..

Hondo, these are, or were, Brembo brakes for the CTS-V. I doubt if you could swap them for the calipers on the standard CTS.

You sure? I would think you could. Alot of guys with Camaro LT add the SS Brembos. It's a direct swap. I would have thought the CTS would be the same. Of course you would need the brake lines, and wheels that will clear the brembos as well.

The yellow is an option on the 2011/2012 CTS V2 just as the rough out steering wheel and shift nob.

Quite sure if these are Cad V2 Calipers, 2011 6 piston replacacements I can make them fit with little drama, heck if they can be made to fit a 2000 z28 and a Late GTO, I would guess my spindles are very much the same as the V2, likely the same part number... I understand the rears may have a different machined surface on the spindle, I'll let you know.

Not sure why this is such a mistery, any parts guys out there that can verify the 2011 front spindles, V6 and V8 being the same. (Or not)

Anyone know if I have to change the K-member to stab the 6.2 engine in the 2011 V6 car? Well known in the pre'08 car this is a must. (Just checking, my 55 Chevy PU has an LS1 and with an HHO Browns gas converter, now gets 33 mpg), with no loss in powerloss.. I may have to change to the V8 to get better mileage and power to spare.(It just was not worth the 22 Grand at the time I bought the car)

----------

Can you reply with the part numbers? The local Dublin Cad dealer wanted $756 ea for the fronts, I just want be sure we are looking at apples vs apples.
