You must tell me how you got to this outcome...my dealer when doing the trunk tsb sent it to a shop that somehow got clearcoat overspray on my entire V...and to this day after several tries for them to give me a scratch free body has never been the same again...damn cheap gm paint

Are those the Hankook tires? They look SOOOOOOO much better than the PS2's.

Griot's products on finish and yes, those are Hankook tires. Should get better mileage than the PS2's; time will tell.

I used griots myself this weekend, but I dont think my results were like that :-)
Has your car been wet sanded cause I can't see any peel.

Wow that is gorgeous! I too want to know if that was wetsanded or just the products applied?

Hankook Ventus V12's are 285/35 front, 255/40 rear and yes, I did have it color sanded.

Funny, Elphil. Yes, brainfart on f/r specs.

Note that the reason these tires look MUCH better than the PS2's is due to the fact that they are normal, square shoulder tires. The PS2's look silly because they have a round shoulder and it makes the tires look like they are not wide enough for the wheels. I would never touch a Michelin tire because of this.

Really looks sharp! Before retiring to AZ I lived in the OC for thirty years, Tustin and Laguna Niguel. The reflection, and background in the other pictures, makes me a little homesick.

Is there really enough clear on these cars to have them safely sanded at a detailing shop? I'd love to have this done as well as mine is covered in peel.

I would ONLY trust a high end paint/body shop or highly skilled detailer that knows how far into the finish they can go. You pretty much only get one real shot at it.
