I'm about to send my calipers off to get powdercoated and am a little hesitant about the color..I have a black V and am leaning towards ZR1 Blue..What ya think?

I'm with leaving them as is, or match the car. Yellow, Red, blue are for Ferraris and other European cars.

I agree 100%. The stock silver looks nice on black Vs.

I always liked the look of red calipers. They look good on the vettes. I think they would look good on a black CTS-V as well

I'm probably in the old school minority, but I think any color other than stock silver focuses the eye on the caliper as opposed to, say, a nice wheel, a sharp side profile of a car, etc. Perhaps I missed something, but when did brake calipers become a status symbol to be highlighted?

My experience is that after 3-4 years, the stock "silver" finish is transposed to RUST Color.
I think refinishing the Caliper will ensure a clean rust-proof finish.

I had my V1 for almost 7 years and the calipers looked like they did when I bought the car.

gloss black, that way they can be ignored, and the focus can be on the car.
