: Problem solved!

My 02 Deville, that died on the freeway at speed, and then kept blowing the ignition switch fuse, had two bare wires that would periodically bump each other, and flow the fuse. The switch is new, so I'm hoping all is fixed. That explains why the mechanics would let it idle for a while, and drive it around town and it was fine and then all of a sudden, it would just die. Hopefully this post will help somebody in the future that has this problem, as it is to date the biggest issue I've had with any Cadillac. (I've had so far a 96 Eldo, a 99 deville, this 02 deville, and I'm looking into getting a DTS if I don't find the Town Car I want)

the best thing to do would be to add this to the end of your thread that has the problem in it... nobody will find your solution if they see your problem thread...
