: Repairing Fuel Leak

So my 87 Allante apparently has a fuel leak that's bad enough to cause most of the fuel to either evaporate or leak out when sitting for a few days, and cause the engine to be difficult to start due to loss of fuel pressure. (like the tank is dry) It doesn't seem to be a line that I can see so I'm starting to think to check above the tank. How difficult is it to drop the fuel tank on one of these? The good part here is the tank is empty enough to turn the Low Fuel light on so only one bar shows on the fuel gauge. I've never dropped one before, let alone whatever kind the Allante has. Anyone do this before or have some advice?
