Was your lining up against this " rice burner" a coincidence or did this guy specifically want to race you because he thought his modded "ricey" could take you ?
Either way of course, it was good to see you spank him!
Ya never know what your gonna see when you open a video these days that has POV in the title

The civic came off the line pretty fast for a front driver, however it reminds me very much of the sound of my old SkiDoo Mxz 600, almost that exact same sound.....

Wow. Pretty cool.
I always hate the japanese cars just annoyingly hitting the rev limiter while in line to race.
the civic driver stated that he specifically wanted to race me. I have no idea what mods it had. not my best but a fun race though.

I hate ricers with a passion as well.
There are TONS of right hand drive POS in my little city. There is a British ran military base just outside of town and apparently there is a dude who after his assignment here decided to live in Canada. He imports alot of right hand drive P.O.S. for poeple here.
There are dozens and dozens of the things driving around at night doing ricer fly-buys.
Nothing makes me laugh harder than seeing a dude in a 1980something skyline that is fallign apart and has pieces of plastic spoiler taped together , fart can muffler with 6" tip that goes into a 3/4" exhaust.
Roll bars , 4 point harness , cover with 4000 japanese racing stickers. The thing I really hate is when I see these guys and they have roll cages , I prepare myself to get worked over , when they end up running a 15 second 1/4.
Then the next day you will see another ricer driver his 89 240zx that looks like it may be worthabout $600 and he has about 20k into his lawnmower engine and blows your doors off.

 at "Seeya"! Those little modded Civics can be a handful sometimes, though....
