I was removing my driveshaft and one of the bolts holding the rear u joint in broke inside the rear slip yoke. I tries drilling and using an easy out but didn't have any luck. I am gunna try using heat to get it out but when I was drilling I drilled into the threads. I called a local bearing shop and they said they have replacement ones for around 60 dollars which isn't bad. If I take it off is there anything I should be concerned with? My uncle said there might be some type of pre-load issue with the rear axle.

To take it off, I was told to just count the turns it takes to take the nut off and install the new one with the same amount of turns. YouTube has a video about it. Ill try to find it when I get home.

Okay I got the rear yoke off and as I thought drilled through the threads DOH! So off to the local bearing shop I go. Hopefully I will have the price of a new.one or if I am going to have to tap it.
