i just purchased a 2008 ext for 35000 with 50,000 miles. any known problems or any improvment i can and should make. im thinking about putting 26" rims on it and was wonder if i should raise, lower or leave it the way it is. if anyone has any pics please post them of ur enhancement.

Rims are definitely a personal preference, I don't like any larger than 22 the ride gets a bit rough for me.

I'd throw some 24s on it and level the rear out. It will look very nice.

IMO, keep the 22's but lower it 3" with a quality spindle front and spring rear kit. It will improve handling and gas economy (once aligned) as well as allowing easier entry and loading via the tailgate. The lowering will make the 22's fill the wells more making it look like they are bigger. Also levels vehicle and minimizes potential rubbing issues.
