I just read that select 2012 Cadillac models will have a new voice activated entertainment system similar to the Ford Sync system. I can only assume this will include the SRX. This is good news for those computer geeks (myself included) amongst us who are contemplating purchasing a 2012. I know we presently already have some voice activated features, but this looks to be much more comprehensive. Personally, I can't remember all of the voice commands we have now, let alone hundreds more. Looks like GM is finally catching up to the competition (when it comes to technology).

"Similar systems with different trademark names will be available in various 2012 GMC, Buick, and Cadillac models. They will add stereo audio streaming and wireless, hands-free smartphone control."

I wish the car dealers would forgo their own custom stuff and just make a screen that I can plug my Android into. Then I could get all the bells and whistles on one device and not have to learn something else. Plus, you'd get all the bug fixes in a more timely manner. I hate this proprietary stuff.
