Just wondering if there is any difference between cutting the entire bottom off the stock box VS leaving some of it in tact including the duct. I have seen both ways. Just wondering whats best or if any difference. Thanks.

I left the part nearest the engine heat intact, cut away most of the bottom and area around the stock duct. With a K&N filter and cutting/reorienting the brake duct to direct air to the filter I gained supercharger sound and, more importantly, I gained about 1/2 pound of boost.
