How much extra would you pay to purchase a car with 5000 less miles on it. I've located 2 black, 2010 V's virtually identical (almost every option) one with 7000 miles and the other with 2600. The car with 7000 miles is $3500 less, but has what appear to be "chrome" door handles and a chrome stick on trim. Its not hideous but I'd want it removed. not sure what damage it may do to the paint etc.

Is the "close to new" car worth $3500 more??? Oh yeah. The newer car is at a dealer that likes to mod. As far as choosing the closest dealer for future service etc, its irrelevant. I'm importing the car into Canada. I was going to wait a while, but I could have it imported with some headers, tuning, pulley and an intercooler?

Appreciate your input.

Wow, did you recognize the car? Thats where this car is from. The mod happy dealer is Lund in Phoenix. They're got a few used V's right now.

I'm sad to say the V is on hold for now. Common sense reared its ugly head. I just can't justify the purchase. I already own a 09 Infintiy FX50, 08 GSXR 1000 and heavily modded lifted Ford Diesel (520hp and 850lb@the wheels) for towing. I'm a single parent...how do I justify adding a CTS-V to my garage. If I lived somewhere where it rarely snowed, then I would get rid of my FX and daily drive the V. Winters are long in Calgary...I need to keep my FX. I love it, but I want a...V badly.

In my personal expeirance you ALWAYS buy the used car that has tacky add-ons. Those cars are usually the most well maintained and least beat on. If you're spending a hundred+ dollars for chrome handles you def wont be the same guy to over boost the car and have a crap tune running in it.

I live by Dave Towell as well. This car looks pretty awful in person.

sure... but it might be hard to get the Black Ice little tree air freshener smell out of it.

how much are you paying? i could be persuaded into selling mine... the new M5s are getting closer to production.
