I'm wondering what the blue tube with zip ties is too.
thats an awful exhaust setup. I could do something alot better.
whatever person did my caddys exhaust used a massive 3.5 inch (seems larger than 3 inch) stainless straight pipe and a matching high flow, high $$$ cat, then crimped and bent the main line to fit into a 2.5 inch muffler. btw, this was done for a 140hp motor. can we say overkill?

Not only that but, bigger isnt always better. That setup may be hurting performance

performance? what performance? its a 307. lol. the exhaust sounded really nice with an open air cleaner on the highway. the air whooshed in the carb and the tailpipe whistled.

Looks about like what I did with my old '68 Sport Fury...I don't see anything wrong with it.
