SO -I broke one of my two keyless entry keys and I need a replacement. I called the dealer: 159.00 + 50.00 for the program. I was wanting to save a few $$$ so where is the most cost affective place to get one of these and can I program it myself?

Thanks in advance,
Cowan

i can sell you a new remote ... but i'll need to know if you need a #1 or a #2

and i'll need you VIN to make sure we get the right one for you... you can PM me the VIN if you don't want to post it publicly
(although i don't know of any reason why you should be wary of posting you VIN publicly)

I need a number 2. What is your cost and return policy? Can you help me install it?

#25946299 $168.41 (current list price)
current forum discount price is $120 before shipping

if the plastic bag has been opened it is non-returnable (if it's in a box the box has to look like it was never opened)
(basically these are GM's return policies for us to return it to GM)
also, UPS charges are not refundable (and you will have to pay for return shipping)

pretty sure you'll have to get a dealer to use a scan tool to program the remote
