: Anyone using ScotchGuard or other surface protectant on seat inserts?

The title pretty much states my question. I'm big on the "an ounce of prevention" philosophy and generally put down a layer water/stain proofing on flooring and any compatible seat fabric. Concerning the seat inserts (specifically, the standard seat if they differ), have you applied any type of fabric or leather protection and if so, what?

Thanks!

I just applied Scotchguard to my mats/carpet and no problems - should make them last and look better much longer. I don't see a problem with using it on the fabric inserts on the seats and I plan on doing it to the rears. I don't plan on using it on the recaros though due to the ventilation.

I've ScotchGuarded my seats with inserts with no problems arising yet and that was in November.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for.
