They fit very well in my Vette. Much better quality than the crap that comes with the car. I will be getting a set for my V.

I've purchased two sets of Lloyds' Luxe mat sets in the past two years. The sets included cargo mats for my standard wagon and my current V-Wagon. I bought them through Auto Pride Concepts. a major sponsor here. I was very satisfied with both sets of mats. My front mats and the cargo mat have the "V" emblem, which looks sharp. Jay Leno has them for his ZR1, but then he probably got them free for giving them a plug. http://i927.photobucket.com/albums/ad120/elphil_photo/IMG_0079.jpg

I have the luxe edition with the V emblem in the front and back. They fit great, look amazing, and are very comfortable on your bare feet. He ships them out fast and he often does free shipping specials for forum members which is nice. I highly recommend over any other brand.

being a perfectionist, I was suspect, but after asking a few questions about how they work with the matt pin, I went for it. Not a perfect solution around the pin, but when they are in, they fit very well and the pin is not a problem. Very Happy here!

If you get the mats, get the extra retaining pins. My mats are held in place by the stock pins, and since the driver's side pin is off-center, my mat gets wadded up when I get out of the car. The vendor has offered to update my mats with the extra pins but I've never taken the time to pursue it, I'm not sure I'm keeping the car anyway.

Color important too. Some sites give you more color choices. I got the standard offered color and this is a better match than expected. Came from Autoanything on one of their many sales.

How does the cheaper Velourtex brand compare vs. factory vs. the more expensive Luxe brand of Lloyd mats? Just don't know if the Luxe is worth the extra cash if the Velourtex is better than the crappy factory mat it may be good enough.

Mine are velourtex (shown under post). Can't speak for the luxe or not. Also traveling now so don't know for sure about color spec, but I thought after consideration of several I went with black not ebony.

Any advice on Ultimat v. Luxe with the Lloyd's?

I am purchasing them with a black interior and the factory color suggested is ebony. However, they often have black as an offering. Does anyone know if the ebony matches okay with black interior?

Lloyds are nice, good fit & great materials. Like some pics above, the black didn't match exactly. Looking back, I think the light grey would've looked better having a contrast.

Having an exact match to the carpet is irrelevant. There are so many different textures and materials throughout the cabin, nothing exactly matches.

I bought the cheaper Lloyds and my driver's mat needs to be replaced as my heel ate through. My V1 had more expensive mats and they lasted much longer...

Our black interior is closer to ebony. The black Lloyds mats are very dark and while the interior has hints of gray. I've only purchased the Lux mats, but they seem to be slightly thicker and offer a lifetime warranty.

if you want to match, our piano black console is the same color as my matt color...thats what i was going for as tbjs stated, the colors from the leather to the "swade" incerts, center console, and trim colors flow in a organic manner. black (the darker of the two) is a safe bet as it goes with any color, hence black shoes when in doubt.
