Maybe i'm just missing the thread; i looked here and in the 09 forums, and couldn't find anything.

I'm getting ready to buy a 2009 V, and need the VIN# run if possible :/

Thanks in advance if anyone's able to

I believe that people used to run VINs for supporting members when I joined, but it is just as easy to have a local dealership run it and print it out for you. Just stop in at a dealer, or call your local service writer if you happen to know them, my service writer was happy to run a few VINs for me when I was shopping.

oh awesome, thanks!
So when it says "Not Actual Mileage | Exceeds Mechanical Limits Guaranteed", taht's not something i need to worry about?

Does it look like a clean car? If you could get this car for $53,000 even, out the door (includin tt&l, etc), would you do it? it has all options - recaros, nav, sunroof

No that's not anything you need to worry about as it came back clean on all those.... The Carfax is clean... the only thing that caught my eye was it was back up for sale after a month of ownership, but I'm guessing that is because a car dealer bought it to sell...

To be honest... $53,000 is WAAAAY outta my price range for any car especially for an American car. I'm not one to pay that much for a car new, especially used. Now as a performer... it killed the Mercedes E class AMG on "Battle of the Supercars"....

This is what I do when looking for a car.... I'd pull used car info from Kelly Blue Book, Edmunds & NADA... and then average the amounts from Private seller, Trade In & Retail on all three sites then take those 3 numbers & average them. That (to me) gives me a fair price they should be asking.

We all know $tealerships don't give crap for trade ins, & generally make $5k off a sale of a used car (at least) even though they are acting like they've only got less than $1,000 in the car. They have a Black book they go by that we as the general public don't have access to (normally) for their pricing.

Anyway hope this was helpful...

well the guy that's selling it runs a small dealership (about 8 or 9 cars on his lot at a time), and he bought the car for me (because i bought my V1 from him years ago, and told him i was in the market for a V2).

Looking at the KBB value of the V2 he's selling, he's selling it for LESS than the trade-in value... (that's without me trading my car in too)

that's good though, right??

if you want to PM me your email address I can send you the GM version of the car's history and the 'build sheet' also ... same stuff you can get at any dealership

Certainly doesn't sound like a bad deal to me. Good price compared to all of the V2 listings around where I am. If the sale price is less than Trade In and you can get away with only financing 75% that, then I'd go for it. If you even plan on financing, that is. Lot of coin to drop on a car though. I told myself I wouldn't start looking at V2's until they were hitting low 40's/high 30's, another 2 years or so I'm guessing.
