Wow that looks pretty cool.... The grill thou may I suggest you paint the behind part black flat black to hide it better then it will look better all together..

I actually was going to do that when the grill and lids where black, but never got to it, and then thought.. maybe the matched color would work better.
i do have a feeling you are Crrect though and if I black it out behind It may stand out better.. another project for warmer days.. i had painted the grill in my apt in the spare room.. and I been high on fumes for a week.... its just getting up to 40* in rochester... Here is a photo of the cat monday!

I got mine off UK ebay. he has 2 styles. i got the grill and lids for like 165 usd but.. there are tint shops that will actually tint them, or put vinyl on them for about $50...

here is a link.. but ask.. they have 2 styles... mine are the other style.. they are more flexable and wont break. I actuall shut on in the door of my car, and no problems!!! your car is opel/vauxhaul omega b facelift in the UK

The ones I have are actually made of plastic, quite thick but follows the shape of the headlight on the bottom side where its glued to the light itself... on the outside it has its own thickness and profile...

Looks quite nice IMO and can be painted but if you paint them you loose some of the effect.

Love the headlights how much they cost ?

mv6 has the style I do not have. Mine are a flexable plastic, I think his are the sturdy plastic. I actually put mine on with valcro, so I can removed them. I apply the headlight cleaner from time to time to keep my lights from looking fadded, so i thought the valcro would make that easier. Plus I wanted to paint them to match.. I will say.. in my opinion.. they look way better since I have painted them.. very sleek.. But I like the matched look... I think the smartest way would be to simply have the headlight painted with an eyelid... that would produce the most perfect "look" . i have also considered new headlights.. if I could find any I liked... and thus be able to remove the lids and reuse them.

My lids do have a slight gap wher ethe fender, headlight and hood all meet.. its only noticeable to me... and if you stand at it and look down.. from a few feet away its good though.
