Hi Sal,

two suggestions:

1.) Careful with the cadillac kill page....corvetteforum.com removed their kill page because GM insiders were finding out that owner's of their corvette's were racing and crashing them and in turn denying them repairs covered under warranty!

2.) how bout 20 posts per page rather than 15. Popular threads tend to stack up...I know at the hometheaterforum (30 per page), people tend to lose interest in the thread when it goes on to the next page....even more people lose interest when it goes onto 5 or more pages.

Very good points.. I'll update the page setting right now.. So you think I should just close the Kill forum and move the topics into general? Would that be safer? I don't want to delete any topics.. But, I wouldn't have any problem deleting that forum and not making any reference to racing on the site..

What do you think?

most definitely Sal...because then people could post at their own risk

Hehe. Well.. Chuck has a good point. I was at the Corvette Forums when all of that was going on.. It probably is a bad idea to blatently discuss beating our cars.. I think I'm going to close the forum and spread the posts throughout the General area.. It's probably for the best.. If people could be turned down regarding their warranty, that's bad, bad news. I wouldn't let myself be responsible for that...

didn't you say that your dealer recommend that we push our car once a week at least. Hey we are just following dealer recommendation. ;)

besides lot of us actually do not currently have dealer warranties. Why don't we just leave the kill section. Just put up a disclaimer.

I'm giving things more thought and getting more input.. The whole point is, if I get sued I can't afford the attorney fees - so I lose whether or not it's right or wrong - it never goes to trial... I could actually be sued if there's a race setup in the kill section or one occurs BECAUSE someone says they wanted to race because of the section - and there's an accident...

Otherwise.. Street racing is different than flooring by yourself.. I'm still thinking - and getting input from other forum owners...

what about a disclaimer before you enter kill section?

I think that having members-only access would help, but if people really wanted to get into the kill section, they would just become a member. Although, the disclaimer would waive legal responsibility to this site.
