I was hoping someone would know which motor mount to buy. The one of the left of my engine (next to oil cap) is torn and needs to be replaced. I have to replace the belt tensioner anyway, so might as well put a new mount in too. In the GM parts diagram, it doesn't say which is which?
It's usually #2 that goes bad.

Not sure if Aurora has the torque struts (aka dog bones) but I think that's what you are talking about
Does it looks anything like this?
I can't find an engine bay picture for '95, I see '00+ and I can tell the torque struts are not there, also I see the 6 Cyl. do have one on the left side (of the car). Looks allot like the ones in other V6 GM vehicle (not aluminum).
1998 Aurora. Link in case hosting dies. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Oldsmobile-Aurora-LOW-MILES-1998-Oldsmobile-Aurora-Sedan-Sedan-WOW-30K-MILES-/110657713577?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item19c3b6b5a9)
I don't see dog bones...

Then is what Ranger pointed out. Apparently only the 6 cyl have the dog bones.

Wow that Aurora is freaking mint. If it goes for under 5 grand I'm going to buy it, as long as they have maintenance records on it. Sometimes those old farts never do anything at all other than oil changes.
Anyway, I still can't figure out the part number for the mount? Does anyone know...thanks!
Try this one for the part #. The strange part is that this site did not list the 4.0 engine. These links are for a 4.6. Maybe it is a misprint.

My parts catalog doesn't show that illustration for a 1995 aurora ... it shows this
[edit: i see it's the same as the one Ranger posted]
