: The best 3 years of my (automotive) life.

Well, I just sold my 2006 CTS-V. It's the only car I've ever loved but my situation was one where it just made prudent sense to part ways.

She's in capable hands - not some joyrider (boy, were there a lot of those dreamers) - so, she's off to a good new home in Mississippi.

I'll probably still check back in on the forum occasionally, but right now it's too hard. Seriously, I got a lump in my throat thinking she's gone. :banghead:

Good luck man!

I just hit the 3 year mark and I've had some of those thoughts lately with all the issues, but every time I fix something it just sucks me back in!

I don't think I could ever sell... what could I possibly replace it with... Maybe a 10 speed, but not another automobile.

hey dude, i feel for ya. that's a beautiful V. if you wanna meet up in San Antonio or Austin one weekend, I'll let you burn some miles off my tires. I'm only keeping mine til May-ish. which is when I deploy and pass off payments to a friend who has his methods of dealing with car payments. for real.

the new V-coupe when I get back... now, I'll let you drive it, but no rubber burnage. I'm calling dibs on shotgun every ride.

Thats a bummer! It's always easy to buy again when times are right.

Sorry to see things like this.

FWIW, your car looks like it just came off the showroom floor. VERY clean. VERY nice.
