wow, what a beautiful T-Maxx onbagz2002.
i have a T-Maxx that's 3 years old now, while it's not as metal as yours, it has some hop-up parts.
here's a web page i made (from scrach, without any help) about the car: http://www.geocities.com/themaxx382/

Yup, the Revo is based on the T-Maxx, it's just newer - I think it came out a few months ago - it Hauls.
I've got 1. Revo; 2. E-Maxx, good for the subdivisions cause it's electric; 3. Stampede - electric, for the son. Though I've caught him using the revo when I'm out of town. (All 3 from traxxas.) Also, an associated 10t4

I haven't been in the hobby all that long, but these cars are COOL!, way better than the crappy ones I used to get from toyrus as a kid..

And, the add-on stuff is HUGE! - titanium this, carbon fibre that, $500 engines. Might have to cut back on the wifes allowance..

And, I just got a 1/10 EXT body to customize - going to try some 'real-fire' airbrushing..

thanks. u could create a geocities.com account and upload them there, but the bandwith is very limited. otherwise u have to pay for web space, u can get that at yahoo, geocities, google (i think), your ISP (internet service provider), and many other places (just search for "web space" on google).

i want to get something for christmas, but i don't want something too expensive. any ideas?? i want something cool and fairly fast, but easy to use and maintain. it's not going to be something i'm going to be really in to (i don't think) but would like something to 'play with' from time to time.

i never seen a Revo in person, but the original T-Maxx with the TRX pro .15 was one sick truck. i still have many stock parts, and that's after crashing into a wall at over 25mph. but if u want to get a street car (which requires a race track or a buddy and a paking lot to have fun) then u should look into the HPI RS4 (regular one, if they still sell them). but that one is like the rice of R/C cars, it's kinda cheep but has a HUGE aftermarket. but if u want stock performance with a good aftermarket, get the Nitro 4-Tec, that thing rips out of the box and has a significant amount of hop-up parts to make it so unique that everyone u meet will have a different setup in one way or another.

when i got mine, i though that i wasn't going to get into it. but it's like a real car, just costs less and alot more customizable. u wont believe what u can do to these things: right before my stock TRX engine died (and i got my O.S.) i reported the sleeve, shaved and sharperned the piston rod, opened up the exhaust port and put a low restriction foam filter on the car. i beat cars with .21 engines (mine was a .15) in drag races (that's like comparing a v6 mustang to a cobra mustang: the .21 being the cobra and the .15 the v6)

P.S. you can buy almost any R/C car, truck, upgrade, etc... at www.towerhobbies.com

Yea, Try your ISP. 10MB is usually included with your service, but you need to call them up to activate it.

lol, even a 1/28 scale car (that's like 7" long) is going to be faster then what u get in toys-r-us. but u want a car that runs on nitro fuel (not that NOS stuff ricers use). i went to HPI's and Traxxas' website and checked out what they have, and it looks like HPI's RS4 series got better stock components like a 2 speed gearbos and a pretty nice engine. but the Nitro 4-Tec still looks better, especially with that 45,000RPM .18 (i think) engine, that should be killer in a car like that (the HPI has a 38,000RPM .15 engine). anything cheaper than those two, and it's not worth ur money.

the gas is like $20 a gallon.. They run about 20 minutes on a full tank on non stop smashin, as you can see they take alot of abuse....

Pimpin_Whity

onbagz2002, u need to learn how to land! or u'll snap a suspension arm or bulkhead (if ur truck has any).

they're not too expesive to sustain, but can get pricey to upgrade. mine is driving a full year without me buying anyting except for gas, gas is like $20 a galon, but that galon lasts u a long time and is well woth the fun u'll have.

BTW, of all the monster truck i've seen and raced, the T-Maxx was the best. the Revo looks like a good competitor, it might even be better. if u're planning to get a monster truck, do urself a favor and get one of them, the others just SUCK :yup:

I have 4 T-MAXX R/C cars and they are not even as good as the REVO...
Ya i needed some practice on the landing but i got it down now...I just have to hit the gas in the air if i wanna get the front end up,and hit the brake to bring it down..

I would recommend a monster truck over a car because the only place you can really play with the cars is in an open, smooth, clean, parking lot.. With the monster truck, you can play with it just about anywhere...
