I was trying to start my car at school today when I heard a hissing noise. I popped the hood and my engine stopped running. It wouldn't start so I did some troubleshooting and came up with a code 34. Can anyone tell me what this is? :annoyed:

Sounds like one of your vaccum hoses popped of or is leaking. Here's a list of all the codes for your ref.
Thats a link you should have bookmarked.
Was it running rich before this by any chance?
The MAP shouldnt cause it to not start though.

yes it was running rich before hand. 34 was the only code i got on the diagnostic. i'm trying to locate the MAP now.
Thats why you had the code 34. Your MAP may be on it's way out, or it may just need looked at. It's located behind the glove compartment. I can't remember how you get to it though.

I changed the MAP sensor and made sure the fittings and hoses were good. The starts, runs ROUGH, and the cuts off even if I apply gas.
is it throwing any codes?
It stalls when you give it gas?
