No CTS-V either.
Or GTO (either version).
Or M5.
Or Sixteen (I don't know if it qualifies, but that would be my choice for #1).

Like I said (and Automobile admits), the list is very subjective. I do like them choosing the C2 Vette as #1 though. That has always been my favorite Vette. I am surprised that some of the other Vettes weren't included though.

WHAT?
no 1969 Palm Beach Editon Buick LeSabre? They are nuts!
NOBODY else has EVER weaved black, white & banana yellow comfort weave cloth seats with a white leather boarder with real mahogany trimmed door panels in black leather! WTF They need to rethink that listing. Where's the AMC Matador Barcellona? Oleg Cassini copper buttons with copper dash and black leather and copper orange carpeting? Who else, I ask who else ever made anything so quaint ?

At least they didn't fall to the ricer fad because I only see a FEW Japanese cars in the whole list, and mostly older, more exotic offerings. For top 10 I see no Honda or Toyota :lildevil: All exotics for the top 10 list though. Nothing with a Hemi either, but there are many more Musclecars that could be added, etc.

They also listed the Top 10 Uncoolest Cars as follow:

Zimmer Golden Spirit
"When you arrive in a Zimmer, you have truly arrived," goes Zimmer's motto. Unfortunately, you have arrived at a place of very bad taste.

AMC Pacer
The Wayne's World movies made it cool for a while, but now it's as cool as saying "Party time! Excellent!"

Cadillac Cimmaron
On a VH1 "Behind The Music" episode, the Cimmaron would be the point where the band breaks up and everyone goes into rehab.

Mercury Villager Nautica
A minivan that tried to be cool through association with a clothing brand that is of itself of dubious coolness. Eligible for the Borderline Brands Collaboration Hall Of Fame.

Geo Metro Convertible
Convertibles are supposed to say,"Hey, look at me!" This one said, "Hey, I've got 55hp and a three-speed automatic! Could you give me a push up this hill?"

Mosler Consolier GTP
It's as fast as it is ugly. And that is pretty fast.

Datsun B210 Honey Bee
Datsun's brochure sums it up: "Our best gas mileage at our lowest price means a machine with all-vinyl upholstery. A padded hub, two spoke steering wheel, and covered glove box. A back seat, too." Hey Datsun, luxury isn't all about back seats and supple vinyl: let's not forget the cartoon bee on the fender.

Suzuki X-90
It's almost unfathomable that a company that makes 190mph motorcycles also created this. Cruise with the T-tops out for maximum dorkiness.

Pontiac Aztek
A legend in our own time.

and the car that beats them all (including their favorite whipping-boy the Aztec):

Yugo
Rolling birth control. Buying one was a statement that you'd given up on life. First vehicle ever to get a DNF in the JD Power Initial Quality rankings.

LOL! Don't get me wrong, I think the Gremlin is much more cool than a Pacer, but there aren't too many cars built anymore that can double as an aquarium when filled with water. :D Our neighbour had a Gremlin in the late 1970's (green no less :rolleyes2 ) and it looked neat with slotted mags! It would be cool to find one in mint condition but no one took care of them because they were considered a joke afterwards. Anything like that from the '70's is collectable, and it won't be too long before the Cimmeron is placed into the same collector status imo, but I doubt there are too many well kept ones out there.

Party on! :drinker
