I knew I left something out:

I liked the VW ad a lot. The others bored me. The Chrysler ad was tugging at my heart strings until Eminem appeared.

Loved the 335d commercial, and the Imported From Detroit commercial was very well done although for a $12 million spot I'd expect someone better than Eminem too. Plus they didn't talk about the car or even show most of it.

Ah, you also forgot this gem.

"Making a left turn now"

"omg can't find parking"

"Just plowed into 4 cars lol sry guys"

I, also, liked the VW ad .... I also like the design of the car! Dash is one of the vest I've seen lately!

"Just plowed into 4 cars lol sry guys"

I'm sure I'm going to choose a car because I can post Facebook updates as I drive.

OTOH, the Cruze commercial with the guy's wife unlocks the car remotely from her phone, that's pretty cool.

I liked VW's Black Betty ad:

I liked the Chrysler spot, but it was wasted on such a POS as a 200, nee Sebring. A spot like that should have featured Chrysler's flagship, and with the new 300 coming, it would have been much more appropriate.

the chrysler Detroit ad was really pretty good, until they showed the sebring. If it had been a 300 or pretty much anything other than the sebring or minivan, it would have been a great commercial, but a sebring..come on. Its a sebring. no one buys them, and some 10 million dollar commercial wont help that fact.
the darth vw commercial was funny and cute. who doesnt love a little kid in a darth vader costume
the chevy truck commercial where timmy kept getting stuck everywhere was pretty funny.
and the bridgestone karma commercial was great. a man getting saved by beaver - 'nuff said.

I actually really liked the 200 commercial, except for the fact that it's completely implausible that Eminem would be driving around in a 200/Sebring. I would have used the background riff for Lose Yourself, the way they did it -- but not actually show him drive the car, and just have the voiceover as is.

Then, make a related ad for the 300 and feature him in that ad.

I get what they're doing with the "Imported from Detroit" commercial, but it falls short for me. All I kept thinking is "Why are they using the 200?", "The LED/Lightpipe 'eyebrows' look stupid.", and "How broke is Eminem for him to be doing a Chrysler commercial?"

I like the Beetle commercial and the Kia Optima one where everyone was stealing the car from one another.

OK...in the Mercedes ad, when it shows the 4 new cars in a row....WHAT is the third one? New CLK? The front of it looks hot!

Oh, and Jon Hamm has the best car ad voice since Patrick Stewart......

CLS-class.

Right to left: SLK, CLS, SLS, C-class coupe.

New CLS.

Also if you look closely you can see that the commercial unveiled two new cars there at the end, the SLS roadster and C63 AMG coupe.

OK, I should say they were mostly short of creativity, except maybe Bridgestone “Carma”, VW Beetle, and Audi “Release the Hounds”.

My wife about fell off her stool when the A8 commercial was on because she had and LOVES Afghan Hounds.

The "Impoted from Detroit" commercial was brilliant, too bad the car sucks.

The Carma commercial was pretty good too IMO

That Audi commerical was hilarious, along with the VW darth vader spot.

The Chrysler commerical would've been great if they had used somebody with a lot more class than Slim Shady. I mean really, really wouldn't want this guy representing my car company considering how vulgar the dude is and that he is a totally repulsive figure to anybody over the age of 40.

Vulgar the dude was*

He's lost what made him cool back in the late 90's. His new music is garbage compared to the creativity of his old stuff, vulgar or not - it was good.

Oh yeah, I would definetly rate the Marshall Mathers LP as one of the 10 greatest hip-hop albums of all time.
