I started my catera about a week ago, slightly above freezing, straight water in radiator and block, now I have water pouring out right under the crankshaft, center, I quess I broke the water pump right? hopefully thats all, I figured it was warm enough to start, still runs fine..

I would not drive car. Have towed. If it was cold enough to freaze the waterpump, you may have cracked the block.. the waterpump is slightly of center toward the driver side of the center of the bottom of the motor.. mine used to leak untill I have it replaced in december.

Thanks, I do all repairs myself, just finished oil cooler, and I thought all was well, but water is pouring out the bottom under the crankshaft, I only started it because it had been in the 40's that day but still some frozen water in the auxiliary water pump hose, I;ll find out when it warms up. Hope it's just the water pump.
