Do you have pics of the filter?
Is it a dryflow or an oiled filter?
Do you have filter socks (prefilters, hydroshields) for this kit?
I am interested in this!!

Thank you for your interest. There is a picture of the filter on the installation PDF, the filter is oiled. We do not have filter socks available.

Will this have any effect on warranty?

It should not. The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects you from the dealer saying otherwise.

Will it also have a cover lid like the 3.0 intake or will it be an open lid design that uses the closed hood as an intake 'sealant' ?

Hey Sled.....I have similar filters on two other vehicles and they have been absolutely no problem. They are cleaned usually once a year and lightly oiled.....Performance is notably improved.....
Just sharing experiences

^ thats if you're using an oiled filter because it will dirty up your maf and than it'll skew your a/f ratio. Either clean your maf every 500 miles for like 2k until the oil dissipates from the filter or switch to a dry element.

But you said it was a oiled filter

^ If you have an oiled filter you have to use maf cleaner to clean your maf once or twice within about 1000 miles in my expeirance. After that point the oil on the filter is minimal enough where it wont fling on the maf. Of course if you get a dry filter you wont have to worry about it at all.
