Thanks very much for posting those, especially the Comfortable one. I looked high and low for it on You Tube about 6 months ago, but couldn't locate it.

Cheers,
Kenwood

Thanks for sharing those commercials. The "comfortable" one is great.

On a side note, I went over to the 2000-2005 Deville forum to see what was going on with those guys. Every post was about a repair. It's nice to be here where we still revell in the glory that is DTS.

My DTS is mechanically sound. Just has some "character". Flickering HID lights. Sun roof that's sitting too low when closed. Some dents scratches. Meh. I'll pay to have it all fixed over time.

... got home from work to find a check from Mastria Cadillac for $100 for Heated windshield fluid removal... Oh boi..... enough to cover the cost of flickering HIDS? NaWT!

My dealer "CLAIMS" that they replaced the ballast in mine today...without having to replace the whole headlight.
Part number on my work order is...10391611
They show .8 hours labor to replace it.

I thought the entire headlight assembly had to be replaced... but evidently not.

Thank you man. What im going to do is see the "Family Doctor" for our cars. My father's friend was excellent when it came to fixing my 1996 Bonneville. Maybe he can help me out again with the Ballast. My Drivers side does it the most and some time my passenger side goes every other month. I WILL get them fixed however.

Thank you again!

It seems like this car has endured half a dozen different marketing campaigns. So many different messages, all about the same car.

Sadly, I've never seen any of those DTS commercials actually on TV. The DTS was poorly marketed thats for sure. But even in the past, if you wanted to see Cadillac TV spots you had to wait for when the Masters golf tournament was on.

It's pretty funny that they marketed the DTS to young people. The last time MOST people under the age of 50 desired to have large luxury sedans was in the 50s. The CTS is more suited for that. (As you can see there are exceptions).

the bridgestone commercial w/ the dts plays at least once during every nfl football game that i've watched this season (bridgestone is the official tire sponsor of the nfl)

I remember seeing the "Diner" and "Golf Boys" during some sports games. I really liked the "Diner" one and I liked how the "Golf Boys" showed the actors literally lounging and relaxing in the seats instead of being crammed in together like they would be if they were driving around in a car that men of their age typically drive.

GM's current version of the "Diner" & "Golf Boys" ad?

Also I enjoyed Steve Buscemi's review in the video.
