Wow that thing is Nasty!

Sure did change parking spots in a hurry.

Has sort of a high-pitched metallic whirring or clinking sound. Quiet exhaust.

Nice. IBTL tho.

locking for sound clips? I didn't see any racing or talk of racing. Sound clips don't do our cars (or any muscle car) sound justice. Need pro equipment to get it right. I came up to a stop light next to a newish mustang that I thought just had a lame body kit from behind. I could hear his procharger sucking air at idle with my windows up. Needless to say, nothing happened. I got him to pull over and apparently he is sponsored by PC and they tour his car around (one off body kit, one off rims, etc).

If I were to do FI, I'd go procharger.

The whistling is the dominant sound, the exhaust is relatively quiet it has 4 big mufflers to keep it down. I took off the rear mufflers once and it was nascar loud so i had to put them back on.

Which intake is that?

What TB did you use?

01-18-11, 02:05 PM
fact: silver is faster

what does the diff and cradle look like??

01-19-11, 04:41 AM
Intake is an edelbrock victor jr with a fabricated aluminum elbow, throttle body is a vette ls2 ported to 90mm.
Here are a couple of pics of the rear end to give you and idea of what it looks like. These are older pictures with the old exhaust set up and the stock gas tank still in place.

This picture below shows how low the exhaust was especially at the flange. This was still at stock height. The exhaust would drag on a hard dip but when i lowered the car 2 inches all around and it would drag everywhere. That got very annoying fast.

So i modified the exhaust to be dumped right before the rear end, like shown below. I cut the tips off the b&b mufflers and welded some turn downs and tucked them where the stock gas tank use to be. in the process i had to redo the x pipe and move the front set of muflers, the car has 4. I welded the tips on the rear to cover the two slots on the bumper, but you cant tell they re not functional. as a matter of fact on the video i posted the tips are just for decoration lol.

So where is the gas tank? right here:yup:

That is amazing - some of the most innovative mods I've ever seen. Congrats on a great builld!!!

Are you done?? ;-)

Nice work. What capacity fuel cell did you end up with? No "aux. intake cooling"?

01-19-11, 02:11 PM
Thanks guys, from what i recall the fuel capacity on the cell was 23 gals, which we determined was a little over the stock tank. I don't recall at the moment the stock tank's capacity. I don't have any methanol injection which i had planned to do but never got around to it. I'm currently setting it up to run on e85, lets see how she does on the corn.

Am I done? Is anyone EVER done? LOL
besides setting the car to run on the jiggajuice i have other plans for when the weather gets a little warmer this spring. I already got the gears turning for tubing the car to run a 345 rear tire. After that she is going on a major diet while keeping it streetable. Included in that will be to replace the seats using an adapting bracket and also i will be making some other weight reduction parts using our mexican engineering. I will show those parts as i move along.

Oh man, the visual pleasure of fabrication! :lildevil: Looks great man! Keep it up! We looooove us some good pics!

01-20-11, 12:18 PM
what do you plan replacing the seats with? i guess more important what are you going to do about the seat belt issue?

Ditto. I have the utmost respect for anyone willing to cut their V and modify their B&B on top of that.
