HAVING A LITTLE TROBLE WHEN IN SPORT I SHIFT AT 6 1/2 RPM BUT IT IT ALWAS SHIFTS AFTER ENGINE OVERSPEED PLEASE HELP:banghead:

It's called LAG. The trans is meant for softer shifts, so it slows the shift down from when you actually shift.
Also, make sure your foot doesn't have the pedal planted to the floor.

What hell then is sport mean, sport means when i shift its is sposeed to shift, not 500 rpm later

Even in a manual car, if you run the RPM right up to just under red line with the gas on the floor, and then push the clutch in to shift, your RPMs are going to go past redline. The torque on the engine is released when the clutch is pushed in, and as such the engine doens't have to work very hard to get past red line.

Similarly, when using the sport shifter, you are asking the car to switch gears while your gas peddle is still planted on the floor. Thats a bit hard for the transmission to accomplish seeing as that a manual car would have the same issue.

If you want the car to shift right before redline, then either give it the command a little earlier so it can compensate for the fact that you won't get off the gas, or let off the gas a little as you give the command to upshift.

As far as redlining the car. Why? This isn't a corvette.
