With all these problems I've been reading about, some of them my own, I wonder if Cadillac has some explaining to do. Is there a Cadillac recall website. Funny how the same problems from 89' to present continue to re-occur. Makes you wonder how supposedly the best luxury car in its class is still be sold and going down the road.
Every car companys cars have some problems, no one is perfect in reliability. There are Acuras with transmissions that die out at like 50,000.

this is also a technical disscusion forum, among other things. people who have problems will ask advice on this site. same goes for BMW, mercedes, ford, and every other automotive forum.
don't be discouraged by some minor problems with your caddy, she is a used car no doubt, and ALL used cars have their little failings here and there. my rule of thumb is, when you buy a used car, be it a caddy or ford, expect to pay out at LEAST $300.00 for minor issues that may arise with the car. and the more high-end the car, expect to pay a little more.
love the caddy dude!peace, illuminaP .

illumina is right. You have to remember this sight deals w/ a lot of cadi problems to help solve them. concluding that all cadi's have problems from the evidence here is like an alien going to a hospital and concluding that humans are all sick.
