2002 Silverado 2500 HD 6.0 4L80E 14 bolt rearend 23,000 original miles.
Only options are Cruise and A/C. Truck may see 3000 miles a year.
12,200.00 out the door with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty.
I went from 215 to HP and 310 ft/lbs of torque to 300 HP and 360 ft/lbs of torque, Plus 4 wheel disk brakes, boxed in frame larger rear end etc etc.

The lack of cloth in the interior is what I like easy to clean after camping or the little guy spills. I am not to worried up not having power windows, but I have ordered a power door look kit. Truck has no hitch, nor did it ever have one. It does however have all the plugs I need to do the trailer wiring. Wiring in this year is plug and play.
I couldn't pass up that drivetrain with those miles at that price.

Merry Christmas everyone! Just waiting for my 5 year old to wake up and realize Santa stopped by!

Whoa. Wonder who ordered that new, with it having no power locks, no power windows, vinyl seats and as a crew cab. It's awful clean and low mileage! I wonder if it was bought new by a contractor or something?

GSA, it spent it's life as a Vehicle on McCord Air Force Base. It had every maintenance record with it. It had a topper/cap/camper shell that is why the bed is so nice. Has low hours on it so it didn't idle much. Looks like it was used by the supply department according to the records.
The government gets the towing equipment, so fuses, trailering plug and trailer brake connection, but no hitch. That is up to the individual station. One was never installed. The dealer put one on for me. I really don't need it as I will be putting the 5th wheel hitch in soon. Not only that all GSA vehicles come under coated.

Damn good looking truck. Should run forever with those miles and maintenance.

Who put the wheels on -- GSA ordered no power locks, but ordered mag wheels?

The dealer installed wheels, running boards, bug gaurd, tinted the windows and put the CD player in. I bet they paid around 7,000 for it at auction maybe less. That stuff maybe cost them 1500 dollars. So they made about 2000 bucks off it, plus whatever they make off the warranty Which is probably about 1000 bucks.

I have the window sticker. I will post it. It has no price. It just says GSA. Weird. It gives all the options. At least it has an aux tranny cooler, oil cooler and PS cooler from the factory. Still can't figure out what gears it has. I am guessing 3.73s because it gets right around 17 mpg on the highway.

I used paint to get rid of the number of the Govt purchaser. It has name as well. Weird.

If it's not hard on fuel that would make for a great winter daily driver.

That is what the Buick is for. The Trans Am stays warm and snug all winter.

1998 Regal GS, smaller pulley, CAI, exhaust and built tranny. 75,000 miles. Suprises the Local Import and mostly stock 4.6 Mustang crowd.

Oh, yeah... I do like those Regals! I used to own a Regal 2000, although it was an LS, it was a very nice and sharp car too. These Regals are great cars in their own leagues.... take a good care of it! There is no way I call it a "winter beater"! and by the way, what color is it? some pics would be wonderful! :D

Congratulations on your new truck. I really like the fact that it is equipped the way it is; not a lot of accessories to quit working while it sits awaiting use! The vinyl seats are great and easy to clean from doing real work, we could all use a little more exercises from rolling up or down the windows! And it sounds as thought she is equipped to do the job you want her to do! Best of luck!

Yeah, cruise and A/C are the only absolutely must have options for me in a utility vehicle like that. However, power door locks would have sure been nice -- if you install a kit, does it come w/keyless entry?

Nothing yet. I got it back about a week and a half ago wit the new Tranny.

Here is a photo, I need to take some new ones. It is much cleaner now.

I bought a kit for 120, comes with fobs, 4 motors and switches. I won't install the switches. Looks really simple. Should take me a Saturday afternoon or morning.

Very good, those spring loaded cup holders have a very bad design and I have seen tons of Regals with broken cup holders....

the cup holder on my wife's 97 Regal was repaired (supposedly) three times under warranty .... and I think was broken when we turned the car back in at the end of the lease! To be honest the broken cup holder and the inability of Buick to fix an obvious defect in the cars interior over a period of three years put me off Buicks for life. I had had a similar experience with the headlight baskets in my '76 Seville which lead me to buy foreign cars for the next 18 years!

Yeah, it is frustrating to see how a company neglects some obvious defects over a long period of time and continues building the car with the same faulty design! I guess all of the forth generation Regals, built from 1997.5 till the discontinuation of Regal on 2004, came with the same problem!
